Literature Text

He found me sleeping
Between hot bed sheets and razor burn
Though I twisted in and out
He grabbed my hands
And shook me to realize
Desire may be a part of me.
He kissed me hard
Forcing my face to smile beneath his stubble.
I don't want to feel this
I don't want my toes to twist
In and out of fake love.
I don't want him to be right
And force my lips to compact against his own
I never want to love.
I can't imagine falling
Into a pool of infatuation
And drown an existence
Completely based around someone else,
I never want to love.
Yet your body thrashes me through dreams
Forcing me to search your brown eyes for myself,
I never want to love.
